Liquid Poly Aluminium Chloride

Liquid Poly Aluminium Chloride is a highly acidic substance. At greater concentrations, it is classed as corrosive and has a yellow colour. At all concentrations, it is miscible with water, however weak solutions hydrolyze and precipitate Aluminium Hydroxide. Poly aluminium chloride is a group of polymers distinguished by their strength and basicity, the latter of which indicates the polymeric composition of PAC. Poly aluminium chloride is primarily used in water treatment, including drinking water treatment, effluent treatment, swimming pool water treatment among other applications.
