Citric Acid

Citric Acid, particularly obtained from lemons and limes, contain naturally occurring citric acid. It is what gives them their sour, acidic flavour. Citric acid in a synthetic form is frequently used as a food ingredient, cleaning agent, and nutritional supplement. This synthetic version, however, is not the same as what is found naturally in citrus fruits. The properties of citric acid makes it a valuable addition in a range of businesses. Manufactured citric acid is one of the most often used food additives. It is used to increase acidity, improve flavour as well as keep the items fresh.
